Peace With Christ participates annually in the Iowa Assessment, which compares student performances nationally.
Each student in grades 1-8 participate in this annual national assessment.
The scores of PWCCS students are collectively 74% and higher than all students taking this test nationally.
Lutheran schools traditionally score at the top of national tests in all academic content areas. For example, the most recent results from the National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP) shows that in Mathematics eighth graders in Lutheran schools scored the highest when compared to same-age students in public, private, Catholic, and conservative Christian schools nationwide. In Reading, Lutheran and Catholic eighth graders tied for the top performance among the same comparison group (NAEP, 2013).
